If you want to learn how to be a barber, we want to find a way to make that happen. That’s why we have full-time and part-time schedules. We also offer barber distance learning, allowing students to complete 45% of the program hours through CIMA by Milady. Our barbering program is also taught in Spanish.

That depends on a variety of factors. Our barber program is 1000 hours, while the cosmetology program is 1600 hours because cosmetology students learn a wider variety of beauty skills. Many barbers focus on hair, and in particular, men’s hair and grooming, while cosmetologists may work with a different clientele and include services like facials, manicuring, and make-up.
