We Empower People to Become Beauty Professionals
If you have attended beauty training from another school, you may be able to transfer some of the credits/hours toward one of our programs. You need to provide us with documentation, such as transcripts, that verify the number of hours of your previous training. One of our instructors may test your practical knowledge and evaluate your abilities to determine how many hours will be transferred.
If you have completed beauty training previously that aligns with the scope of the program you wish to enroll in at Elite CBS Academy, those hours may be transferable. For example, if you have a Cosmetology license, part of that training could be transferred to our Barber program, or vice versa. The hours of training must have been completed in Washington at a licensed school. A transcript of hours or a license is required before enrollment in the new course. This does not apply to licensed professionals wishing to take the Instructor course because it covers a different curriculum.
Esthetics students wishing to continue to Master Esthetics will need to have taken, passed, and received their Esthetics license to add Master Esthetics to their license.
You may transfer to Elite CBS Academy from another Massage School, as we are a transfer school with the Washington State Department of Health. However, hours from programs that are not regulated by the Department of Health (such as Cosmetology, Hair Design, Barber, Manicuring, Esthetics, Master Esthetics, and Instructor) cannot be used toward the Massage course hours.
This school in its recruitment, admissions, instruction, and graduation policies or in the hiring of faculty does not discriminate against students or potential students based on race, age, gender, gender expression, creed, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, veteran or military status, sexual orientation, the presence of any sensory, mental, or physical disability or the use of a trained guide dog or service animal by a person with a disability or other basis prohibited by law.
If you are interested in one of our 45% Distance Learning program options, you can indicate that choice on your enrollment application. Further information concerning the distance learning option will be provided to you.
Many of our students balance work, school, and other responsibilities by enrolling in a program on a part-time schedule. We are happy to accommodate the busy lives of our students by offering flexible scheduling.
Your choice of program depends on what you want to learn and your future career goals. If you are interested in learning how to provide hair services, look into the Cosmetology, Hair Design, or Barber program. If you think skincare is where your passion lies, check out the Esthetics and Master Esthetics program. If you prefer a shorter program that focuses on nails, you may be interested in our Manicuring program. If you want to learn how to be a massage therapist, then our Massage Therapy program is for you. Finally, if you are already a licensed beauty professional and you want to teach students the skills they need to know, you could check out our Instructor program.
Still not sure? Contact us to schedule a meeting. We’d love to talk it over with you!
